Error description
Storage Insights fails to generate a Level 4 support log package for SVC clusters which do not contain enclosures; the devices themselves can generate the log packages when Storage Insights is not used. The messages above shows that the "Livedump SES Dump" command encounters errors when collecting sesdumps, however there are no CMMVCxxxx warning (W) or error (E) messages to be seen. Further investigation has shown that when there are no enclosures to collect the "SCSI Enclosure Services (SES)" dumps (reference the [svc_livedump-gui1] Output string: Livedump - Enclosure Dump: No enclosures to dump), the command gives an error because can't get the livedump from the enclosures as no enclosures found on the SVC. When running the snap type 4 log package creation outside of Storage Insights, the result is a livedump log package being collected, and it works despite the error message about the SES Dumps which causes the job to fail when run from Storage Insights.
