Problem
This document contains Information about message CPF8C09.
Cause
Some users may experience the message CPF8C09 - *IBMSRV not defined as a service provider at the moment the SNDSRVRQS *TEST command is run and the file QAEDSPI (Service provider information database) is in error. Object QAEDSPI in QUSRSYS library must be replaced.
Diagnosing The Problem
Note: It is not necessary to correct this error unless the user wants the SNDSRVRQS *TEST command to work with the default parameters. All other ECS commands will function correctly.
The test will complete successfully if the user prompts the SNDSRVRQS command and changes 'Remote control point' to *SELECT and selects *IBMSRV from the list.

This is not part of Electronic Service Agent; however, it is an operating system problem with a file used by ECS. There is no affection to Call Home.
Resolving The Problem
Note: Object QAEDSPI type *FILE on QUSRSYS library needs to be replaced.
To check if there is user data in the file, issue WRKMBRPDM FILE(QUSRSYS/QAEDSPI)
If only 1 record is listed then only Steps 2 & 3 are needed.
