APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The -B flag (brokerDomainGroup) on the mqsicreatebroker command
    is being ignored and defaulting to MQBRKS.
    

Local fix

  • Set the MQSI_BROKER_DOMAIN_GROUP environment variable
    

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise V11 wanting to use a
    Windows Domain Group to secure files in a shared work path.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    Windows on x86-64 platform
    
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    On Windows, it should be possible to use the -B and -Q
    parameters on the mqsicreatebroker command to set the Windows
    Domain Group to be used to secure files in the sharedWorkPath of
    a multi-instance integration node. But these parameters are
    being ignored.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The mqsicreatebroker command now uses the Windows Domain Group
    values provided with the -B and -Q parameters as expected.
