These 2 files are visible but they should be block the access to the following URLs on its developer portal: - https://developer_host_name/composer.lock - https://developer_host_name/composer.json
Local fix
The best idea would be to create a custom module that had pages that run on those URLs, and you can simply display an empty page or whatever you want, that will then be served up instead of the file content.
Problem summary
The internal composer version file was available externally via the webserver.

The webserver configuration has been updated to block access to composer config files.
