Error description

    emoji">APAR IT32057 changed the DataPower behavior API Connect
    v5 was using to determine if a request parameter had non-XML
    characters present. The implementation of this determination has
    been changed.</span>
    

Local fix

  • Restart DataPower.
    

Problem summary

  • A DataPower firmware APAR impacted the mechanism that API
    Connect used to determine that the query parameter contained
    these invalid characters.  A different implementation of this
    detection logic was implemented.
    

Problem conclusion

  • <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">A fix will be
    delivered in the API Connect v5.0.8.11, 5.0.8.10-iFix1,
    2018.4.1.15, and 10.0.1.1 GA releases.</span>
