Troubleshooting
Problem
I have installed Sentinel License Manager. When I want to run the command licenseactivator [authorisation_code] to activate my license, I receive the following error message: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException... as shown on the screenshot below:
Resolving The Problem
This error in most cases is caused by missing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables. You may check under Control Panel > Programs and Features if you have the newest Redistributables, if they are missing usually installing them solves the problem. To download the latest version you can use this page:
