Abstract
This technote contains known limitations for all releases of IBM Content Navigator.
Content
Known limitations for IBM Content Navigator:
- The FileNet P8 domain cannot share documents with external users.
- Send email fails in IBM Content Navigator deployed in a container environment.
- You cannot create a SharePoint repository from a nonadministrator desktop.
- A nonadministrator user logs in to a Content Navigator administrator desktop and the browser hangs.
- Single Sign-On (SSO) Logout fails with the Firefox browser.
- Single Sign-On (SSO) Logout fails with Chrome version 83 or later.
- A nonadministrator user tries to log in to an administrator desktop and gets an error message.
- Single Sign-On (SSO) Logout does not log out sometimes.
- IBM Content Navigator in a container environment does not support Office Online Server.
- Merge and Split is not supported for documents with multi-content elements.
- Issues with viewing documents in worklists that have many workpackages.
- Dragging email and attachments from Microsoft Outlook works only with specific browsers.
- Creating and editing a document with the Edit Service client on a Chrome 94+ or Edge 94+ browser.
- Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers cause document link limitations for the Edit Client email service.
- Multi-factor Authentication in IBM Content Navigator.
- Using short-encrypted links.
- Using the Safari browser when the Leave-Site warning is displayed.
- The IBM Content Navigator Configuration Manager and Deployment Tool does not start in AIX.
