Troubleshooting
Problem
Cognos Analytics users may encounter an issue where the Run options in a report advanced properties is missing (the section highlighted in red in the image below). The user is the owner of the report.
This section includes options for:
1. Running the report with user's credentials
2. Running the report with owner capabilities
3. Running the report as the user
Cause
The user's credentials have gone stale and need to be renewed.
Resolving The Problem
Navigate to My preferences > Personal tab > Advanced and click "Renew" beside "Credentials".
Then, navigate back to the report > properties > report tab > advanced and the run options section will now appear.
