Error description
Manually interrupted BPs could result from a cluster under load when JGroups messages fail between nodes. JGroup messages could fail to be received by nodes when JGroup Messages are sent to IP and Port.
Local fix
B2BISFG-51981
Problem summary
Users Affected: B2BI Cluster configurations Problem Description: Under heavy workflow load some business processes could be left in manual interrupted state at step 0. These manually interrupted business processes were sent to other nodes in the cluster using jgroups. However, under load, the jgroups messaging could result in messages that would fail to be delivered to the destination node, resulting in retries and possible droppped messages within jgroups. Under heavy load the dropped message failure could cascade, resulting in an interrupted state. Platforms Affected: All
Problem conclusion
RESOLUTION SUMMARY: A code fix is provided. Changed the jgroups message destination to use the jgroup address from the workflow jchannel, rather than the ip and port of the jgroup. The workflow channel destination address is now broadcast, stored, and available for each node to use to distribute messages within the cluster. DELIVERED IN: 6000203
