Which files are logging output of WebSphere Liberty Profile included in Cognos Analytics installation?
Answer
Following files are WAS Liberty logging.
1. <CA11 Install>/wlp/usr/servers/cognosserver/logs/messages.log
2. <CA11 Install>/wlp/usr/servers/dataset-service/logs/messages.log
3. <CA11 Install>/logs/p2pd_messaged.log
4. <CA11 Install>/logs/dq_messages.log
1 and 3 are related to Dispatcher, 2 and 4 are related to Query Service.
Some lines of WAS Liberty Dispatcher logging are written in 1 at first in start up, then switched to 3. Rest of all records are written in 3.
In the same way, some lines of WAS Liberty Query Service logging are written in 2 at first in start up, then switched to 4. Rest of all records are written in 4.
