APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • SNMP Polling times out when DataPower is rebooted.
    In order to
    recover from this situation, the admin state of SNMP Setting
    needs to be manually disabled and then enabled.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • If the user reboots DataPower and later executes snmpwalk
    command from SNMP manager to DataPower, then the command will
    fail and report the timeout error.
    

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

  • Re-enable the SNMP Settings object (disabe and enable again) to
    get it work.
