Error description

  • The user hit some errors on updating a IBM DataPower 10.0.0
gateway service registration for a catalog in IBM API Connect.
Afterwards, DataPower reloaded each time on trying to add the
gateway service.
The backtrace pointed out the troubling API Connect application
domain on DataPower. The backtrace showed IBM Support the issue
was with corrupted API subscription data.

  • DataPower may experience an unexpected reload when adding a
gateway service which has specifically formatted API
Subscribers.

Problem conclusion

  • Protect the API Subscriber fields to prevent reload.
