APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Deleting a Datapower application domain does not remain deleted
    after performaing a device reboot/reload.
    

Local fix

  • After deleting the application domain, log into the cli and
    perform a "write mem" operation from configuration mode.
    

Problem summary

  • Domain deletions may results in no "Review Changes" banner,
    disallowing save config from the WebGUI
    

Problem conclusion

  • Resolve how objects are destroyed when a domain comes down to
    ensure the needs save flag is set, even in the event the domain
    deletion is the only change occuring.

Temporary fix

  • Enter DataPower CLI and "write memory" from the default domain
    to save changes.
