Install WAS ND 8.5.5.15 + IFix 8.5.5.0-WS-WASND-IFPH25216
Update to WAS ND 8.5.5.17, Installation Manager issues error:
You cannot uninstall the IBM WebSphere Application Server Networ
Deployment fix which is superseded by the installed package
8.5.5.0-WS-WASND-IFPH25216.

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

When uninstalling the fixpack to perform update,
checkAparDependency bundle checks whether the offering is
superseded by another offering. If fixpack is superseded by an
iFix, skip the supersede check.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • To allow interim fixes to be applicable to multiple fixpacks,
skip the supersede check for fixpacks that are superseded by the
interim fix.
