APAR status

Error description

  • DNS static host setting may not work when DNS load balancing
algorithm is set to first alive.

Local fix

  • Use IP address, or change the DNS algorithm to "Round robin".

Problem summary

  • The DataPower DNS static-host setting may be effective for a
DataPower endpoint when Load balancing algorithm is round-robin,
 but not when it being first-alive.

Problem conclusion

  • Fix is available in 2018.4.1.14, 10.0.1.1
