APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When creating a route on an ethernet interface. Routes with the
same broadcast entry may be missing.

Example:
0.0.0.0 ->
1.1.1.1 - Eth 1
0.0.0.0 -> 1.1.1.1 - Eth 2
1.1.1.0 -> 0.0.0.0 -
Eth 1

Expected:
0.0.0.0 -> 1.1.1.1 - Eth 1
0.0.0.0 -> 1.1.1.1
- Eth 2
1.1.1.0 -> 0.0.0.0 - Eth 1
1.1.1.0 -> 0.0.0.0 - Eth 2

Local fix

  • This is purely cosmetic, and should not change routing.

Problem summary

  • Broadcast entries of subnet may be missing in the output of
DataPower CLI command 'show route'.

Problem conclusion

  • Fix is available in 2018.4.1.14, 10.0.1.1
