Error description

  • When you use the groupMembershipUpdate.sh, syncExistingUsers.sh,
or usersSync.sh script on Linux, you can't pass user names or
group names arguments when they contain spaces. For
syncGroupMembershipForGroups.sh, a workaround is possible but
wasn't documented.

  • These commands already have the ability to interpret a !x!x
sequence to represent blanks. For example, you can pass "A!x!xb"
 instead of "A b". If your shell requires escapes, use \!x\!x as
 blank replacement. For example, in Linux you would pass
"A\!x\!xb" instead of "A b". With this fix installed, this
ability is now documented in the commands, which you can see by
using the -help parameter.
