 A full build of a project after many hrs of processing a popup
with DDE transaction cannot be processed comes up and then the
build hangs after linking JCLs is shown in the progress bar. You
have to kill the Build client to come out and thus the
build is lost and nothing gets written to repository and build
log not created.

Problem summary

  • Build client hangs up for huge projects after getting a popup
DDE transaction cannot be processed.

Problem conclusion

  •  A fix has been provided back in 2020, that was handling in a
better way the memory and the output window during the build.
Also, increasing the size of the Databases , helped and the
project was successfully built
This fix has been included in ADDI 5.1.0.9getting a popup - DDE
transaction cannot be processed
