End of Product Support Notification
To maintain full product support, IBM recommends upgrading to more recent releases of specific Netcool product versions as soon as possible 
Important Product Fixes
Web GUI customers:
On 21st Jan 2021, certificates used to sign components of IBM Netcool/OMNIbus WebGUI expire.
All older versions of Web GUI v7.4 (now out of support) and up to WebGUI 8.1.0 FP17 are affected. 
The following components are affected:
- Active Event List (AEL)
- Map (configured as applet)
- Event Dashboard Rendering and Edit (configured as applet)
After the 21st Jan 2021, these components will fail unless upgraded to Web GUI v8.1.0 FP18 (or later).
This is to note to advise you that Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus_GUI 8.1.0 Fix Pack 18, 8.1.0-TIV-NCOMNIbus_GUI-FP0018 has been released (see link below). It contains the fix for the following APAR.
APAR IJ22785: Enhancement & renew code sign certificate for WebGUI applets that going to expired on 21 Jan 2021.
TBSM customers:
On 21st Jan 2021, certificates used to sign components of IBM Tivoli Business Service Manager 6.2.0 expire.
The following components are affected:
- TBSM Agent
- Language Pack for the TBSM Agent
- TBSM Time Window Analyzer
 
After the 21st Jan 2021, these components will fail unless upgraded. APAR IJ24612 will be delivered in Interim Fix 6.2.0.2-TIV-BSM-IF0001 to upgrade the affected components. It is tentatively planned to release this Interim Fix in Q2 2020.
Older versions of TBSM (now out of support) are also affected. Customers using older versions of TBSM should migrate to v6.2.0 to avail of the fix.
As TBSM uses some of Web GUI portlets, its corresponding Web GUI version would need to be upgraded if applicable, see above.
ITNCM customers:
Upgrade to Fix Pack 12 before January 2021
In January 2021, you might observe Java security errors that prevent the IBM Tivoli Netcool Configuration Manager user interface from starting. The cause is that some .jar files are signed with a security certificate that expires in January, 21, 12:00 GMT, 2021. The fix is to install Netcool Configuration Manager Fix Pack 12, which is intended for release at the end of October 2020, or to contact IBM Support.
