APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If an API contains a GatewayScript policy that executes an
apim.setvariable function call that manipulates message.body,
the Content-Type header is set to unknown. This might cause
issues with invoke policy target servers, or the API client.

Local fix

  • To resolve this problem, you must immediately follow the
apim.setvariable function call with an apim.output function
call that specifies the content type of the payload that was
written to message.body by apim.setvariable.

Problem summary

  • Do not overwrite the content-type header when setting the
message.body

  • The fix is in 2018.4.1.13 and 10.0.1.1
