Troubleshooting
Problem
Trying to export "Slice to Excel", "Snapshot to Excel", or "Export to PDF" fails with error:
"
Export prevented
The Cubeview export is too large. Reduce the size of your export by selecting fewer dimensions on rows or columns, or smaller subsets of data.
"
This error occurs whatever the value of MaximumSheetsForExport in tm1web_config.xml (in C:\Program Files\ibm\cognos\tm1_64\webapps\tm1web\WEB-INF\configuration)

Resolving The Problem
This message is due to the ExportCellsThreshold parameter in tm1web_config.xml.
This parameter is empty by default, but will take precedence on MaximumSheetsForExport if it is set.
The solution is to either unset this parameter by setting it to null value (empty string), or to set it to a much higher value.
This change requires a restart of the "IBM Cognos TM1" service.
