Problem summary

  • When building a COBOL program which has a 'COPY...REPLACING A-
BY B-' statement, a syntax error would occur: "Error [999]
Syntax error: 'A-'"

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed AD COBOL Compiler to properly tokenize the COPY statement
considering the ending hyphen as part of the words 'A-' and
'B-'.
