Error description

• The restore of a VMware guest with IBM Spectrum Protect Plus
  using the streaming restore option will complete without errors
  but the resulting target guest generated in clone or production
  mode might not be bootable.
  Streaming restore is available starting with version 10.1.5.
  The issue is only seen when using the hotadd transport mode.
  The same streaming restore from the same backup image and
  hotadd in test mode will generate a consistent target guest.
  The same non-streaming restore from the same backup image in
  test, clone or production mode will generate a consistent
  target guest.

Problem conclusion

• Before the fix, VMs that had non-standard geometry configuration
  would not boot correctly after streaming restore with hot-add
  transport mode. This is fixed by correctly setting the geometry
  in the restored VM's configuration.
