IBM Support

Additional required JDBC options for Oracle Database with SSL or Microsoft™ SQL Server

Troubleshooting

Problem

When you deploy IBM® Maximo® Health, in IBM Maximo® Application Suite, on the JDBC Configuration pane, you specify options for your database. If you are using Oracle Database with SSL or Microsoft™ SQL Server , you must specify some options that are not included in the Deploy Health article.

Resolving The Problem

In addition to the options and settings described in the Deploy Health article, specify the following attributes in the Optional JDBC name table:

  • If you are using Oracle Database with SSL, specify the following attribute:
    Oracle Database attribute for SSL
    Attribute name Attribute value
    driver oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver
  • If you are using SQL Server, if you are using the default dbo schema, ensure that you specify the following attribute:
    SQL Server attribute
    Attribute name Attribute value
    schema dbo
