APAR status

Error description

  • The if LTPA auth mechanism does not reference a keySetGroup the
    LTPA keys will fail to be created.  The keySetGroup should  not
    allowed to be deleted if the auth mechanism is referencing it.

    *                      that was referenced by the LTPA auth    *
    *                      mechanism, causing the token to fail to *

    Users are allowed to delete a keySetGroups referenced by the
    LTPA
    authentication mechanism.  If deleted this can cause the LTPA
    tokens to not get created.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Changed to code to error when a user attempts to delete a
    keySetGroup that is referenced by an authentication mechanism.
    
    The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
    8.5.5.19 and 9.0.5.7. For more information, see 'Recommended
