CHGSRVAGTA fails with messages CPF1015 or CPFEF82

Troubleshooting


Problem

Following messages are received when activating Electronic Service Agent (ESA)
CPF1015:  Data area &1 in QSRVAGT not found.
CPFEF82: Service information configuration information not available.

Diagnosing The Problem

CHGSRVAGTA or GO SERVICE Option 1 fails with messages:
  • CPFEF82 - Service information configuration information not available.
  • CPF1015 - Data area Q* in QSRVAGT not found.
Where Q* is one of the following data areas:

Resolving The Problem

  1. Sign on with a QSECOFR class profile.
  2. Issue: GO SERVICE Option 1 and set ENABLE(*NO)
  3. Issue: WRKOBJ OBJ(QSRVAGT/*ALL) OBJTYPE(*DTAARA)
  4. Remove all the data areas that are displayed. Are recreated on next step.
  5. Issue: GO SERVICE Option 1 and set ENABLE(*YES)
  6. Issue: GO SERVICE Option 2 and leave defaults. Press enter.
  7. Review the audit log to verify any error messages received. 
Steps force QSJSENDER job to run. Give a few minutes and check for CPIEF12 message if posted again.
For all Electronic Services issues, including Electronic Service Agent, ensure the appropriate group PTF is installed as well as the recommended fixes:
