Error description
Issues with work order generation based on a measurement point and a condition monitoring if an aircraft has a flight logbook opened ? using <Generate Work Order> action from the List view. The fix for the APAR IJ28702 WORK ORDER GENERATION ERROR ON CONDITION MONITORING - AVIATION needs also to be installed. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1) Create a model in ?Models? application a. Click on <New Model> b. Fill in the following information: i. Add a name and a description for the model, e.g. ?A320? ii. Add a code (?AIRCRAFT?) and a label system (?ATA?) iii. Uncheck the checkbox ?Weight and Balance iv. Add a label with <New Row>: Label System ?ATA?, Label ?000000? v. <Save Model> vi. Go to the ?Configuration? tab vii. Uncheck the checkbox ?Abstract? viii. Click on the button <Change status> ix. Select the status ?Active? x. Click on <OK> button 2) Open the ?Part Number Master? application, search and open the details for part number ?A320? a. Click on <Change Status> to change status to ?ACTIVE? b. Click on ?Part Number/Organization Details? and change status to ?ACTIVE? at organization level (e.g. for organization ?EAGLENA?) 3) Create an Aircraft in ?New Aircraft and Equipment? application a. Click on <New Aircraft and Equipment Assembly> b. Fill in the following information: i. Select a Part Number corresponding to the model created, ?A320? ii. Select a model and a configuration, ?A320? iii. Select the status ?ACTIVE? iv. Add a serial number, ?001? and a registration, ?001? v. Select a date for the transfer of title, e.g. 16.03.20 12:27 vi. Click on <Save> button vii. Click on <Change status> button viii. Select the status ?ACTIVE? ix. Click on the button <OK> x. Click on the action <Create Aircraft or Equipment> xi. Retain the number of the aircraft created 4) Create a Flight Logbook setup in ?Flight Log Book Setup? application a. Click on <New Flight Log Book Setup> b. Fill in the following information: i. Add a description, ?A320? ii. Select au model and a configuration, ?A320? iii. Click on the <Save> button iv. Click on the <Change status> button v. Select the status ?Active? vi. Click on the <OK> button 5) Create a Flight Logbook in ?Flight Log Book? application a. Click on <New Flight Log Book> b. Fill in the following information: i. Add the aircraft created at point 3 ii. Click on the button <Change Status> iii. Select the status ?ACTIVE? iv. Click on the button <OK> v. Click on the button <New Row> in the area ?Flight Data? vi. Add information about the departure time of the flight, e.g. 01:00 vii. Complete others information about flight hours, Arrival Time: 02:00; Off-Blocks: 00:00, On-Blocks: 02:00 viii. Select a departure location, ?LOCAL? ix. Click on the button <Save> 6) Create a meter in ?Meters? application a. Click on <New Meter> b. Fill in the following information: i. Add a code and a description for the meter: ?D?, ?Degree? ii. Select the type ?GAUGE? iii. Click on the button <Save> 7) Create a Job Cad in ?Job Card? application a. Click on <New Job Card> b. Fill in the following information: i. Add a number and a description for the Job Card: ?JC0001?, ?Job Card 0001? ii. Select a Work Type, ?TR? iii. Click on the button <Save> iv. Click on the button <Change Status> v. Select the status ?Active? vi. Click on the button <OK> 8) Open the application ?Condition Monitoring? a. Click on <New Measure Point> b. Fill in the following information: i. Add description for the measure point, ?Measure Point D? ii. Select the aircraft created at the point 3 iii. Select the meter ?D? iv. Add an upper limit, Upper Warning Limit: 10, Upper Action Limit: 20 v. Select the job card created, ?JC0001? vi. Click on the button <Save> vii. Click on the button <New Row> under the ?Measurements? array viii. Add the date ix. Add a value higher than the upper action limit, e.g. 50 x. Click on the button <Save> xi. Click on the action <Generate Work Order> xii. Add the date xiii. Click on the button <OK> to generate a workorder xiv. Click on the button <Yes> about the flight logbook discrepancy (We are in an infinite loop with this dialog box.) xv. If you click on the button <Cancel> that stop the process but, a lot of work orders have been generated, 3. xvi. When trying to save an error message is displayed: ?The Save action is canceled? xvii. The record is then saved after trying to generate again a work order 9) Open the ?Meters? application and duplicate the meter ?D? in ?D1? 10) Open the application ?Condition Monitoring? a. Create a new measure point with the same details as specified at point 8, for the meter ?D1?, until x b. Click on <List View> c. Filter and select the measure point just created d. Click on <Generate Work Order> and then click <OK> in the ?Generate Work Order? screen e. After waiting some time the following error messages are displayed: ?BMXAA2849E - Error while generating work order for measurement point 1005. BMXAM1281W - Do you want to create a flight log book discrepancy record?? f. Click <OK> (it is the only option available in this case) g. Open the details of the measure point and notice that no work order is created RESULT: No work order is created from List view EXPECTED RESULT: Once the dialog to create a flight log book discrepancy record is answered, one work order is created.
