Error description

  • In DB2 Utilities Enhancement Tool.
    A new UET policy element, PRACTICE (along with subordinate
    parameters) is being added to allow the DSNUTILB Intercept
    feature of UET to search the provided utility statements and do
    one or more of the following:
    
    1) ADD a text string to the utility statement if the specified
       search string is not found in the statement syntax.
       The text string is appended to the end of the utility
       statement.
    2) REMOVE a text string from the utility statement if the
       specified string is found in the utility statement.
    3) SUBSTITUTE a text string to replace the text string found
       in the utility statement.
    4) JOURNAL the occurrence of a monitored event to a DB2 table
       for subsequent review or analysis.
    5) FAIL the utility job step with a specified return code
       if a search argument is found in the utility statement.
