PH26475: SWITCH IIS_WEBSERVER PLUGIN BINARIES TO SYMLINKS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a fix pack is removed, the IIS plugin binary within an
  IIS_Webserver subfolder isn't changed to the previous version,
  which leaves the web server using the version that was suppose
  to be uninstalled.

  When applying a fixpack for Plugin to a Windows implementation
  using the IIS webserver the IIS_webserver??/ folder locations
  don't get the proper binary updates.
  

Problem conclusion

• This fix will convert all of the Plugin
  IIS_Webserver??/iisWASPlugin_http.dll hard copies to symbolic
  links to either the /bin/32bits/iisWASPlugin_http.dll or
  /bin/64bits/iisWASPlugin_http.dll files.  This will eliminate
  the need to copy files to these sub folders as fixes are
  installed.
  
  The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
