SEAS against Active Directory having issues trying to use TLS1.2 between ICC and SEAS.

Troubleshooting


Problem

Authenticate users with Sterling® External Authentication Services(SEAS) against Active Directory(AD) is having issues trying to use TLS1.2 between IBM Control Center(ICC) and SEAS.

Symptom

1-SeasService.log file has the error 'handshake_failures'.

2-SEAS log file has the error 'no cipher suites in common'.

Resolving The Problem

1- Check and update the ciphers configuration on SEAS

2-Update the engine properties through the Web Console

3-Configure SEAS for only TLS 1.2

4- Make sure you have the fix was added in ICC6.0.0-2 IT18230/R522434
