Monitoring portal displays blank screen

Troubleshooting


Problem

When you launch the monitoring portal from an instance, it displays a blank (grey) screen.

Symptom

The following users or user groups cannot see the instance details in the monitoring portal nor they can see any message indicating that they do not have necessary permissions to view the details:
  • Who do not have any role or permission set but have access to pattern, environment profile, and instance
  • Who have only read-only access to an instance

Resolving The Problem

A check box prompt (Enable monitoring for workload instance owners and read-only users in the system) is added to the Shared Services > System Monitoring deploy user interface. Select the check box if you want these users to view the monitoring details of the instances in the monitoring portal.
