**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of IMS Configuration Manager V2.1 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: New Function for Configuration Manager * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The following issues are being addressedin this APAR: 1. Customer requires the ability to discover all CSL address space components. 2. Customers requires the ability to discover systems that are not in a PLEX. 3. Customer identified a number of PROCLIBs that require visibility through the GUI. 4. Customer wants up-to-date status information for PLEX members in the GUI navigation. 5. Customer wants the ability to identify parameter overrides and their source.

The following changes have been made for the above issues: 1. Support for all CSL member types: OM, RM, ODBM, REPO, SCI: a. ISPF dialog for editing these members. b. GUI for browsing these members. c. Discovery of these address spaces (through Connection Server or utility). d. ISPF and GUI-based display of PROCLIBs related to these address spaces. 2. Addition of batch command (DISCOVER utility statement) that identifies sytems without an owning PLEX. 3. Various improvements to the Eclipse-based GUI for IMS IMS Configuration Manager.
