ESA: Operations Fails with CPIEF13 - Unable to Use File QAS9AUDLOG

Problem

Provide circumvention for message CPIEF13 Service Agent program QS9LOG was unable to use file QAS9AUDLOG.

Resolving The Problem

Electronic Service Agent (ESA) functions fail with message CPIEF13 - Service Agent program QS9LOG was unable to use file QAS9AUDLOG. Error messaging also indicates operation INSERT fails.

Use the following instructions to rebuild the ESA Query Definition to correct the error:

Log on with a user profile that has *SECOFR authority

Check to see if there are any locks on the QS9UTIL program:
WRKOBJLCK OBJ(QSYS/QS9UTIL) OBJTYPE(*SRVPGM)
If there is a lock, end the job holding the lock

Disable Electronic Service Agent:
GO SERVICE
Select option 1. Change Service Agent attributes
Specify ENABLE as *NO and press <ENTER>
Press F12=Cancel

Call the program to rebuild the Query Definition:
CALL QSYS/QSQCMPGM PARM('QSYS' 'QS9UTIL' '*SRVPGM')

Re-enable Electronic Service Agent:
GO SERVICE
Select option 1. Change Service Agent attributes
Specify ENABLE as *YES and press <ENTER> twice
