• Summary: ORF job can fail with pointer errors when the database
  has an index with an overflow data set
  When a database has a secondary index with an overflow data set,
  the ORF job can fail with the following pointer errors:
  FABP1951E THE NUMBER OF DIRECT-ADDRESS POINTERS IS DIFFERENT
  FROM THE NUMBER OF LOGICAL RECORDS IN THE OVERFLOW DATA SET
  FABP1994E THE SUM OF DIRECT-ADDRESS POINTER VALUES IS DIFFERENT
  FROM THE SUM OF LOGICAL RECORD RBAS IN THE OVERFLOW DATA SET

  This APAR resolves the following problems related to an index
  that has an overflow data set:
  - ORF job can fail with the FABP1951E and FABP1994E errors when
    the database has a secondary index with an overflow data set.
  - ORF job can cause the FABP0971E error when a secondary index
    with an overflow data set is reorganized.
  The both pointer errors were caused by the extra blank records
  written by ORF at the end of CI.
  

Problem conclusion

• The program has been modified so that it will not write extra
  blank records at the end of the CI of an overflow data set.
