PQ81886: QUEUED MESSAGES NOT PRINTED IN A SHARED MSG QUEUE ENVIRONMENT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Four problems are addressed by this APAR:
  1) In a shared msg queues environment, when AUTOLOGON for
  a printer nodes fail, a subsequent /OPN NODE command may not
  immediately print queued messages.
  2) SIGNOFF cleanup not working properly when using customer
  supplied signon exit (DFSSGNX1).
  3) IZTRAN ASOT and ALOT values displayed as blank
  instead of zero.
  4) Added a new call type for the IZTSRCH0 lookup routine. When
  requesting NODE name searches, you now have the option to bypass
  the IMS commands and search only the ETO Support tables.

  Several problems are addressed by this APAR.
  1. Signoff cleanup not working properly when using customer
     supplied Signon Exit (DFSSGNX1).
  2. In a shared Messages Queues Environment, when AUTOLOGON
     for printer nodes fail, a subsequent /OPN NODE command
     may not immediately print queued messages.
  3. ETO Support global options not displaying ASOT/ALOT if
     they are coded as 0 (zero).
  

Problem conclusion

• - Signoff cleanup will now be called after customers Signon
    Exit (DFSSGNX1) has completed.
  - The Signon Exit (DFSSGNX0) has been changed to include the
    first eight LTERMS for the printers when shared message
    is active.
  - The ETO global options display for ASOT/ALOT has been
    corrected.
