PK38318: DFS0434I WHEN USER SETS ILDS CISIZE AS NOT MULTIPLE OF 4096

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When ILDS CISZE in IDCAMS is not a multiple of 4096,
  IMS issues DFS0434I BUFFER SIZE OR KEYWORD INVALID.  Although
  processing is successful, client wishes Index Builder to
  round up to multiple of 4096 so message is not issued.

  Customer used CI sizes for the ILDS data sets not multiple of
  4096. IB obtained the CI sizes from the VSAM catalog and created
  DFSVSAMP entries.
  

Problem conclusion

• IB rounds up the DFSVSAMP entries to the nearest multiple of
  4096.
