• With the automatic deletion of unnamed snapshots configured with
  certain criteria, a running process instance in the web IBM
  Process Designer Inspector fails with a CWLLG2229E error.

Local fix

• Restart the environment.
  

Problem summary

• When you clean up the unnamed snapshots with a very low value
  (such as 1) set for the clean-after-number-named-snapshots
  parameter, the cache in the web Process Designer doesn't clear
  the deleted instances associated with the unnamed snapshot that
  is deleted. As a result, running the instance fails with the
  CWLLG2229E error.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix is available or will be available that cleans up the cache
   associated with instances in the web Process Designer.
