APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Users observe a slow down in UI and REST API responsiveness,
    also observed with Portal user logins and other operations
    involving communication with the management server. This can be
    remedied by restarting the apim pods on the management server.
    

Local fix

  • Known issue and we suggest having scheduled restarts apim pods
    every 1 or 2 weeks (dependent on the observed slowness onset
    for this customer) to prevent this.
    

Problem summary

  • Management Server UIs can get progressively slower over time.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fix targeted for release in v2018.4.1.13.  Workaround for
    earlier releases is to restart the apim pods when symptoms are
    observed.
