Problem
After a report is updated by importing it from a deployment archive without importing saved report versions, some saved report versions disappear
Cause
Deployment Import updates all the report properties including the one defining how many report versions to keep or for how long. The new rule is immediately applied deleting report versions that do not comply with the new rule.
Resolving The Problem
Make sure that the retention rule for report versions is set in the source environment as it should be in the target environment before exporting the report.
