Troubleshooting
Problem
By new GUI, connect to an Microsoft SQL database using JDBC and External namespace authentication works fine with an SQL-signon (hardcoded) but not when switching to external namespace.
By old GUI ( Administration console ) : no problem.
Symptom
Error message: "XQE-DS-0006 Unable to logon to the data source. Login failed for user ''. ClientConnectionId:xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx"
Cause
Integratedsecurity flag missing in connection string
Environment
Microsoft SQL server database
Resolving The Problem
Data Server connections for Microsoft SQL Server.
Edit Microsoft SQL Server connection
JDBC URL : "jdbc:sqlserver://server;DATABASE=xxxxxx;LOGINTIMEOUT=0;integratedSecurity=true"
Ps : It comes default when done in old GUI.
