Abstract
Kiosk mode gets a redesigned user interface for improved usability with an emphasis on cleaner and simpler design. MaaS360 also adds enhancements such as app action shortcuts and a 60-second countdown timer for the single-app mode.

Behavior changes in the Kiosk mode
- The branding elements such as the home screen logo are applied to the device without having to exit the Kiosk mode.
- The Kiosk app is deleted from the device on policy change in Device Owner mode.
- The auto-launch (single-app) mode now supports both landscape and portrait modes.
- When the COSU policy Set device to Kiosk mode is set to Once any allowlisted app is installed, the Kiosk mode is disabled when all the allowlisted apps are uninstalled on the device.
- The wallpapers configured in MDM policies are now applied to the Kiosk home screen in Device Admin enrolled devices.
- App badge count support extended to the Messages app when it is moved outside of the MaaS360 container.
- The Kiosk mode is not removed when the selective wipe action is issued for any compliance reason.
- The Kiosk mode status is reported to the MaaS360 portal in real-time.
