"Invalid Profile" error when enrolling a DEP device

Troubleshooting


Problem

Attempting to enroll a DEP device and receive error "The configuration for your iPhone could not be downloaded from {{COMPANY NAME}}.  Invalid Profile"

Symptom

"The configuration for your iPhone could not be downloaded from {{COMPANY NAME}}.  Invalid Profile"
Users may receive this error when they initially power on a reset or out of box IOS device

Resolving The Problem

Admin should check the following in order to resolve issue:
1)Ensure APNS cert is valid. Navigate to Setup>Services>Mobile Device Management and check cert expiry.
2)Ensure DEP token is valid. Navigate to Devices>Enrollments>Other Enrollment Options>Apple Device Enrollment
(DEP)>Tokens and check cert expriy
If all above conditions are met - a factory reset of device will be required in order for the profile to push correctly.
