  * earlier, and the database to which a CDC engine is connected *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
  * When a database to which a CDC engine is connected stops or  *
  * goes down, the CDC engine instance stops as well. In the CDC *
  * engine trace logs, you will see an entry containing:         *
  * "Target Data Channel                                         *
  * com.datamirror.ts.util.TsExceptionHandler                    *
  * processUnhandledException()     An uncaught exception has    *
  * occurred: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException"               *

Problem conclusion

• CDC now properly handles the situation when the database becomes
  unavailable. Upgrading to IDR 11.4.0.3-5566 or newer resolves
  this issue.
