The matrix below provides specific terms by Product family for the following:

IBM licenses Machine Code only under the terms set forth in the IBM License Agreement for Machine Code (“License Agreement”), and only to the extent of IBM authorizations for use of the Built-in Capacity that was Properly Acquired and Activated (as such terms are defined in the License Agreement) and is used in accordance with the IBM Authorized Use Table for IBM Machines.

For machines and upgrades acquired on or after April 1, 2012, the license agreement specified through this webpage governs use of Machine Code, and takes priority over any other Machine Code license terms that are (i) included with the machine or upgrade, or (ii) accepted along with IBM Program license terms.
