Vulnerability Details
CVEID: CVE-2015-7555
DESCRIPTION: giflib is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by giffix.c. By using a specially-crafted .gif file, a local attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
