Planning Analytics Workspace do not behave on iPad (Safari) on touch gesture like expected

Troubleshooting


Problem

When using Planning Analytics Workspace on an iPad the touch gesture like a single quick click or a long hold are not behave like they should or expected to work like in other web applications.

Symptom

Pull down menu or selectors do not always open when do a quick click on them.
A long hold of a selector or entry on the page mark a different entry on the screen for copy&paste.
This only happen with Safari on iPad.
Everything is working fine with a (currently not supported) Chrome on iPad.

iPad with Safari browser

Resolving The Problem

Check the settings on the iPad for Safari.
1. Open the iPad settings
2. Select in the list of the left hand side Safari to see the specific Safari settings.
3. Search in the Safari settings for "Request Desktop WebSite" and open this option
4. Turn of the option "All Websites"
Settings-> Safari ->Request Desktop WebSite -> All Website turned off
5. close the settings and reopen the Safari browser
6. Planning Analytics Workspace will behave now as expected on touch gesture
