Troubleshooting
Problem
The ORACLE JDBC driver includes optional JAR files including xmlparserv2.
If this is copied into <cognos>\drivers, it will cause failures in other Java libraries used by Cognos Analytics.
If this is copied into <cognos>\drivers, it will cause failures in other Java libraries used by Cognos Analytics.
Symptom
Cognos Analytics will fail to start correctly.
Cause
ORACLE JAR file xmlparserv2.jar is copied into <cognos>\drivers.
Resolving The Problem
Remove the ORACLE JAR file xmlparserv2.jar from <cognos>\drivers.
