Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: Users that observe an unresponsive queue manager and have found an access violation (often address 62C) reported in an FDC, specifically from lcsFncLinkAdd. Platforms affected: Windows **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An internal routine was unable to acquire a pointer for an unknown reason. The invalid pointer resulted in a memory access violation.
Problem conclusion
The root cause of the problem was not discovered from the information available and this APAR delivers preventative code and diagnostic enhancements.
