Navigation in exceptions drill down * * does not work in datasharing mode if * * exceptions are called from operational * * summaries panels * * 2. The CQM started task shutdowns after * * an attempt to start monitoring of DB2 * * subsystem which is not specified in the * * control file. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF * **************************************************************** 1. If exceptions are called from operational summaries panels in datasharing mode, the command to go to previous interval works but command to go to the next interval does not. If exceptions are called directly from the mail panel, both commands work. In single mode both commands work regardless of the way of calling. 2. Code not handled correctly situation when attempt made to start monitoring agent to either non-existing or not described in the control file Db2 subsystem through the ISPF or MODIFY command.
Problem conclusion
1. Datasharing mode is processed using CAE agent and server and they require specific data to determine which interval is current. If this information is not provided, the displayed interval is supposed to be current and command to go to the next interval is blocked. Logic is updated to pass the needed information. 2. Code changed to correctly handle attempt to activate monitoring of non-existing or not described in the control file Db2 subsys. The new ISPF message CQM178E and help panel added with the error explanation and possible corrective actions. Search Keywords: EXCEPTIONS CQM$EXCS NEXT FEC804E CQM2002E
