The z/TPF DASD usage reporting tool is a Linux-based executable file that works with continuous data collection (CDC) to produce a report of DASD usage over a period of time.

The z/TPF DASD usage reporting tool is a Linux-based executable file that uses IBM MQ to obtain data that is created by continuous data collection (CDC) on z/TPF. The tool uses CDC data type CDC_DASD_METRICS to create a report of DASD usage. The report provides usage information for all online DASD modules on z/TPF over a specified period of time. The usage information is created for each online DASD module and it includes average reads per second, average writes per second, and average service time.
